"Dear Søren
I have just read your note on the DOF website about the World Ranking Event in Scotland, cancelled because of the outbreak of foot & mouth disease.
To put that into context, I can tell you that in the UK there is now no orienteering at all taking place, and a resumption seems unlikely before mid-May at the earliest. Events postponed until later in the year include the Easter Jan Kjellstrom Trophy (JK) and the British Championships which were due to be held in Northern Ireland.
